Back Baltic Container Terminal Gdynia

A greener logistics solution to Norway and the UK

We strive to develop greener logistics solutions for our customers. Therefore, we are happy to announce that we can offer short sea solutions for Norway and both the north and south of the UK. As we are independent of shipping lines, we have many possibilities.

Using a short sea shipping solution, your goods take a greener and more sustainable route than via the heavily congested Dover-Calais crossing or driving a truck to Norway.

Local expertise and services

We offer a collection of your goods, international transport by sea or road, customs services and of course distribution in the country of destination.

CO2 emissions for Gdynia-Oslo*

An example: By sending a full container load from Gdynia to Oslo by sea instead of the road, you save as much as 71% of the emissions.

Choosing the sea route on the Gdynia-Immingham route allows you to reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 70% compared to road transport.

A good tip is to use 45' HCPW containers, which are equivalent to standard 13.6 m trailers (33 euro pallets).

LCL and FCL transport to the UK and Norway

Short sea container transport is a competitive solution for the FMCG, food&beverages and furniture industries, as well as other companies exporting goods from Poland to the UK and Norway.

We provide supervision over the entire logistics process and a wide range of services, including customs clearance and distribution.

We offer the possibility of shipping both single pallets (LCL) and full containers (FCL). We handle loads from all over Poland, as well as from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

The new port call at London Thamesport

Additionally, we are introducing a new call in London Thamesport (60 kilometers from London, in the South of the United Kingdom). Adding this alternative port should make the route from Poland to the UK even more sustainable.
